Happy Workplace International Project is a part of Thai Health Promotion Foundation’s projects aiming to promote happy workplace program to Japanese companies in Thailand. The project was started in August 2013.
Happy Workplace Program (HWP) is a comprehensive worksite program for the promotion of employees’ physical and mental health, subsequently leading to better families and society.

Thai Health Promotion Foundation (Thai Health) is an independent state agency set up according to the Health Promotion Act 2001 and funded by 2% surcharge tax of tobacco & alcohol excise taxes It has a Governing Board chaired by the Prime Minister with half of its members from independent social organizations
Thai Health promotes well-being in 4 dimensions:
Physical, Mental, Spiritual and Social.
Happy Workplace Tools are tools to implement happy workplace program developed by Thai Health Promotion Foundation and universities, such as effective measurement indicator and database of the cases already implemented in the companies.
Happy Workplace International Team consists of Japanese and Thai staffs. We introduce the information of the HWP in Japanese and English, and support companies to implement the program.
According to the research and cases, we found that implementing activities for promoting employees' health in the workplace will decrease turnover rate and absentee rate and increase job satisfaction, productivity, the company image and consequently lead to better company performance.

The seminar "Creating Competitive Advantage through Responsible Supply Chain towards Tokyo 2020 Games- Explore systems to promote human right " is held on 25th February 2016.
